As well as the usual Atto Fridays seminars we are introducing hot topics sessions. They will consist of two 25min contributed talks by early career researchers + 5 min questions, starting at 3pm London time. The seminars will be held as Zoom webinars, advertised on our social media channels (Twitter and YouTube), and made available on YouTube with the permission of the speakers. We will group the sessions by theme.
How to apply
If you have done something new and cool that resulted in a publication within the last year, and would like to talk about it, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject Hot Topics and the following information:
Your name, career stage (PhD student or PDRA), research group and institution
Link to the publication you would like to talk about
A few sentences about why you should give a talk
Title of your talk and a 100-word abstract
Applications can be submitted from the 1st of September to the 31st of December 2021. Selection of applicants for the whole of 2022 will take place in early 2022. You will hear from us by the end of January. We aim to hold one or two sessions per semester, depending on the cohort. We are looking forward to your contribution!
